Utah Dance Academy Disneyland Vacation Information

We are traveling as a dance company to Disneyland in California September 2020. Dates are Thursday, September 17th - Monday, September 21st.

​We invite all competition team dancers and their families. It is an amazing opportunity to perform at such a prestigious location. Our dancers will get a chance to participate in a special backstage Disney Workshop with a talented Disney Choreographer and then will perform live on stage at Disney California Adventure Park! 

Dancers must be 7 and older to perform, but our younger dancers are welcome to come and play with us and watch the performance! It is going to be a special experience for everyone involved.

Travel Plans

We will be leaving from the Salt Lake International Airport early in the morning on Thursday, September 17th. Exact flight details will be given to participants as it draws closer. Group transportation from the Long Beach Airport to the Disneyland Hotel will be provided.  

Our group is lucky enough to be staying at the beautiful and festive Disneyland Hotel. It is right next to Disneyland, so travel to and from the park is quick and easy with a ride on the monorail or walk through Downtown Disney!
Everyone will receive a 5-Day Park Hopper Pass to Disneyland and California Adventure Park. You will have plenty of free time to explore and experience the magic of the two amazing parks.  

We will have one morning set aside for the Disney Dance Workshop. It is typically about two hours long. Only the dancers are allowed "backstage." Parents can use this time for anything they would like to do. Dancers and their families can enjoy the Disney Parks for the rest of that day.

Another day will be reserved for the performance. We will be performing on the California Adventure Park Stage by the Monster's Inc ride.
 *More information on the performance date and time will be available in September. Professional Disney Photographers will take pictures during the show!

​We will prepare for our performance at a group pizza pool party at the Disneyland Hotel Pool area. Dancers will run through their routines on the lawn outside of the pool area and then everyone is invited to swim together.   

The party will be held the day before our performance day! It is required attendance for all of the dancers.
We will head back to Utah on Monday, September 21st in the evening. Travel from the hotel to the airport will be arranged and included in the vacation package. The flight will be in the evening so that you can squeeze in some extra play time that morning at the Disney Parks! 

Cost and Payment Information

We have worked hard to negotiate group discounts and special rates on our flights, tickets, and lodging.  We wanted the outing to be as affordable as possible.

A $100 deposit for EACH person attending from your family is due on February 1st. **This deposit is non-refundable**

The estimated cost of the Disney adventure is $950-$1150 per person. The cost will vary depending on how many people we have RSVP and also on airline/hotel negotiations. We go the extra mile to ensure we get the best rates possible on everything. We should be able to give you a better estimate shortly after the RSVP deadline on Feb 1st.

We have a deposit schedule organized to help break down the cost and to help us make deposits to secure our travel reservations. Please make prompt payments. If you pay with a credit card you will be charged a 3% processing fee.

  • February 1st: Non-refundable Deposit of $100 
  • March 15th: $200
  • April 30th: $200
  • June 15th: $200
  • July 30th: $250
  • August 15th: $100
  • September 1st: Any Remaining Balance Due 

If you have special circumstances, please inform us in writing when you sign up. Exceptions to the pricing may include....
  • You have a traveler who is under 2 years old so they do not require an airline ticket. 
  • You have a traveler who is under 3 years old so they do not require a Disney Park Ticket.
  • You are driving to California instead of flying with the group.
  • You are providing your own hotel/lodging accommodations.
