MaKaylee Jones
MaKaylee Jones has always loved to dance. There was never a time when she didn’t enjoy going to dance class. Dance has brought confidence, creativity, artistry, and amazing relationships into her life. She has learned and performed many different styles of dance including: Ballet, Pointe, Tap, Jazz, Contemporary, Lyrical, and Modern. Two of her favorite styles of dance are Pointe and Tap. Although the two styles are completely different, they are both fun and exciting.
MaKaylee has extensive ballet training. She was selected to be part of the cast for the Nutcracker Ballet production. Over the past few years, she has danced in the roles of Maid, Reed Flute Waltz of the Flowers, Arabian Queen, and her favorite role, the Sugar Plum Fairy. She shines on stage and bring that same light into her classroom. MaKaylee is a dedicated and creative instructor. She has choreographed beautiful routines for the Utah Dance Academy recital and trained and coached award winning soloists for the UDA Competition Team. She is excited to add to her choreography experience as a coach for the the Competition Team Senior's this year.
Dance is a place for her to express herself. It’s a place to feel safe, loved, and confident. She strives to pass this feeling on to her students. She wishes to instill in them the love for dance that she has developed. In addition, teaching them important life skills like gaining self confidence, setting and reaching goals, and experiencing success.
