It's Parade Season!

We invite ALL of our Utah Dance Academy dancers to join us at the parades this summer. It is a fun time to celebrate America and to participate in local community events. We would love to fill up our float!

Parade Attire

The required parade shirt this year is a Red Sequin Tank. These tanks are so sparkly and cute! We are ordering them through our costume company. They coordinate really well with the UDA Team Warmups, so you can wear them all year to dance and to the competitions. We have a required hair accessories that will come with your tank. It is a beautiful red ribbon bow. Our dancers are going to look amazing. We are going to bring the bling to the parades this Summer!
The cost for the sparkle top and the bow is $39 per dancer. Please pay before June 10th, so we can include you on our shirt order.
This is the same parade shirt as last year, so if you bought one before, you do not need a new one!
Each girl will also need a pair of white Soffe shorts. You will need to purchase your own shorts from the store. They are sold at Big 5, Walmart, or on Amazon. They are about $7. If yo have some from previous years, you can wear what you have already!
Parade dancers are required to have plain white tennis shoes. If you are in the parade float, then the white shoes are optional, but cute! Dancing in the parade is by invitation only.

Riding in the Float
Riding in the UDA float is a lot of fun. Dancers can dance along to the music, wave to the crowd. The parade does not let us throw candy from the float.
Dancing in the Parade
Some dancers will be asked to dance behind the parade float. We are selecting dancers during our competition team tryouts to be part of the dancing crew.
