Adelle Belnap

Adelle started dancing when she was four years old. Her house had a small square space of tile in the living room and she would perform tap dances for anyone willing to watch. Shortly after, she was enrolled in formal dance training at Clytie Adams School of Ballet. She studied ballet for 10 years--four years on pointe. During that time, she performed in countless ballet productions in theaters across Northern Utah including Kingsbury Hall, The Browning Arts Center, and Perry’s Egyptian Theater.
She loves all forms of the Arts. She co-choreographed a production of Joseph and The Technicolor Dream Coat. She sang and danced in the Bonneville High show choir, was voted Laker Choir President, and was the lead in the school musical--playing Sandy in Grease.
During college at Brigham Young University, Adelle trained and certificated to be an aerobics instructor and taught cardio kickboxing classes. Kickboxing is dancing with a lot of umph! She graduated with a Bachelors Degree in Business Management with an emphasis in Marketing.
Adelle enjoys teaching the students at the Utah Dance Academy. Being a teacher is an extremely rewarding profession. She teaches the girls with her whole heart, and they give friendship, love, and knowledge back to her in return.
There is nothing in the world more important to Adelle than family. She is married to her best friend, Cord Belnap. Together, they are raising four wonderful children, Libby, Natalie, Gage, and Oliver. Libby and Natalie are currently dancing at that Utah Dance Academy, and Adelle loves being a part of their dance education.
