Kathy Carver

Kathy Shriber Carver has owned and operated her own dance studios for 35 years in Pleasant View Utah, Cedar City Utah, Little Rock Arkansas, West Des Moines Iowa, and now in Farr West Utah. Kathy has always had a love for dance and is excited to be back in Utah teaching dance again and blessed to even be able to teach some of her first dancers’ daughters.
Kathy went to Oklahoma City University, on a full scholarship where, she was a cheerleader and a member of their elite dance company under the direction and care of Jo Rowan. She graduated from Southern Utah University with a degree in Theatre Arts and Dance and Child Development. While at Southern Utah University, Kathy was the Choreographer and Dance Captain for their Dance and Drill Team, the Waukeenyans.
Kathy is well trained in Ballet, Tap, Jazz, Hip Hop, Contemporary, and Tumbling. Kathy has taken her dancers to perform all across the United States including Disneyland, Hawaii Pro Bowl, San Francisco 49ers, and the Stadium of Fire. Kathy’s career in dance has provided her opportunities to choreograph for many stage and theatre productions. Kathy’s teams and soloists have received national titles and overall high point awards in Showbiz, Talent on Parade, Symposium, Dance USA, Dance Spectacular, Dance Champs, I Love Dance, and Encore; also receiving many awards for her choreography.
Kathy has taught over a hundred local, state, national, and international dance and pageant winners. She has taught for several different modeling agencies-teaching modeling, professional self-development, and etiquette. Along with her many dance accomplishments, Kathy has been Miss Utah National Teenager 1987, Miss Teen Utah 1988, Mrs. Utah 1998, Mrs. United Nation U.S. 1999, and Mrs. United Nation International 2000. Kathy has enjoyed being a keynote speaker speaking to youth groups, women’s conferences, and universities nationwide. She is currently on staff for IIPP (International Institute of Professional Protocol – in Hawaii).
Kathy loves sharing her talents and takes a personal interest in each of her dancers. She is married to her best friend Kelly Carver and has four beautiful children, Ashley, Jamon, Christian, and Sonne.
